This campaign joined Converse and Product (Red) to fight AIDS in Africa. 100 artists designed a Converse sneaker with their own particular take on epidemic. Each sale contributes to cause. I like this campaign because it has a many different views on the same subject using the unorthodox medium of a sneaker.
I am drawn not only to the visual but to the message Nike is sending with these ads. I like the body copy mimics the body part that it speaks of, how color is added behind black and white photography adding more depth to the image.
I am completely in love with this magazine. The covers are eye catching with bold use of color and composed photographs. The articles feature simple but beautiful photographs, illustrations, and even cut paper section headers. It is straightforward design, with a flair for color and photography which both interest me.
