I like the way this firm uses diagrams to break down and explain everything with their manuals and illustrations. I think it is crazy the way they can incorporate so much information into one image and still have it look visually clear and uncluttered.
This firm's designs are memorable and express very clearly the idea needing to be communicated. Without knowing anything about these books or companies at first look, I felt like I understood them better just off the designs the firm created. The work is bold and youthful.
Her designs use type very expressively and are fun. The first book looks very sophisticated and still decorative and approachable. The second has humor and still has clarity. She doesn't manage the personality of her work undermine good design choices. They work in tandem.
The designs she creates are fun and decorative, young and inviting but are clean and classic at the same time. Her choices from color, to pattern, to type are all very much my aesthetic.
