Illustrator: Nate Williams

I like the surreality of his work and the way he incorporated type and uses it expressively. His use of color is bold and he can juggle a lot smaller components and compose them into one cohesive image.

Illustator: Banksy

Though he also has a background graffiti, I was really drawn to his illustrations because they take imagery you expect to see and make an unexpected change to them to make a comment about society.

Illustator: Keith Haring

He used bold shapes, lines and colors to create striking visuals that used composition to create movement or patterns which in turn gave his works varying levels of meaning and interpretation. I am also drawn to his basis in graffiti and the implicit social significance of his work.

Illustrator: Tenmyouya Hisashi

He blends old and new Japanese culture in his style and choice of imagery. I am drawn to the Japanese style but also the hip hop visual culture references.
